SLEKE makes a phone which helps you to interact in the real world while eliminating what you find most distracting about your current smartphone. The phone includes communication and utility oriented features and excludes anything that is meant to pull us away from living our real lives. The founders of SLEKE have made this device for people that are looking for dumbed-down phones or screentime limiting apps, but could not find an option that is both practical for modern life and sufficiently limiting. The options were either too limiting or not limiting enough.

Their mission is to empower you to navigate the modern world with confidence, providing essential communication and utility features without the unnecessary distractions that take you away from real life.

FEATURES:

 Functional Apps - Our curated app store only supports apps focused on communication and utility (Yes, that includes music.)

Answer Engine - Our primary web browser is answer-based rather than link-based - allowing you to get answers to everyday questions in a non-distracting way.

Beeper Messaging - We support Beeper, an all-in-one chat app that gives you Access to your chats from 14 different messaging apps, including Instagram, Slack, Whatsapp, Telegram and more.

Custom Home Screen - On your home screen, We show you a feed of your notifications rather than a set of apps - helping you to Monitor your communications and tasks more directly. When you have no notifications, your home screen is empty.

QR Code scanner - We included a QR code scanner, so you can still scan menus at your favorite restaurants… We wish they kept the physical ones too.

Hidden Custom Browser - Our hidden browser blocks over 3,000,000 NSFW links, trackers, and distractions, keeping your online access safe and focused.

Side-Loading Prevention: We block installation of apps outside of our store to ensure the SLEKE. experience stays curated with frequent updates and additions, while staying safe, and functional.

Google Pixel Hardware - We load our operating system onto the Google Pixel for durability and performance. Repurposing these phones greatly reduces e-waste.

OdysseyOS - Our OdysseyOS is the operating system that runs our phone. OdysseyOS is a modified version of the open-source CalyxOS which gives it a strong foundation in privacy and security features. OdysseyOS is up to date with Android 15.

Carrier Unlocked - Our phones work on most major carriers and MVNOs worldwide (excluding Google Fi). That means you can keep your current carrier when using The Phone. Simply install your SIM or eSIM and be on your way.
